 If you really like this guy, you should definetely respect that he wants to get his life together. It think it's excellent that he's focused on that first! Wouldn't it be kind of selfish for him to dive right into a relationship with you before he even got himself in order ?? He says he really cares about you, and I'm sure he does, but taking care of himself first is not only the most important thing, it will benefit any future you guys might have together in the future!
So stay positive, give it time, and try not to stress yourself out toooo much !

I think it's excellent that he's focused on that! If we was really serious about you, getting himself together first is definetely the first step towards a healthy relationship! Just try not to stress out too much about it. Keeping in close contaact with him is a good idea, because it lets him know that you are in fact interested in him, but you are respecting him taking care of himself.
