He felt suffocated and the more you showed your desperate side. This will hurt for a very LONG time and it might and even by time, when the feeling fades, it wont totally go away. So, as for starters, meet new guys- but make sure those guys are great and better than him in all aspects so that he wont seem "that much". Do all ths with total control over yourself. Heartaches SUCK but at least now u know how it feels.

being in the same situation the only advice i can give is try to get through each day at a time, i know it is soooo hard and you think of nothing but them but as i have realised you can't make someone be with you, try giving him space and see how it goes from there, was there someone-else involved, what was the reasons for the break up? if there was someone-else on his side then your best to walk away in my opinion, you MUST start eating otherwise you will make yourself ill. I hope things get better and keep your chin up. Love can be the most wonderfull thing but can also be the worst thing!
