reader, anonymous, writes (21 November 2008): Well, I think he might be interested, but maybe he can't read your signals. He's not a mind reader and if you say "half heartedly" yeah maybe we could meet up. I suggest doing the whole "give a little, take a little" technique (haha). Maybe call him up and ask him if he wants to get together or stop by. I think you both have to put in a little more effort if you want it to work. So, take the initiative and just ask him to stop by or something. Maybe he just thinks you're not that interested and doesn't want to waste his time. If you show him you're interested maybe he will try to make a move. Play it cool though, but not too cool!
