I like this boy and his sister says he likes me but I think my friend called him up and asked him out. His mom is going to be my softball coach and he is going to help so I was going to ask him out during one of our pratices but if my friend asked him out it will be very awkward if I asked him out. Miss C agony auntHey again, sorry this is a bit of a late post, this is the first time I have been on in about a week.

I think you should leave it because your friend likes him as well and I don't think any guy is worth ruining a friendship. You're just 10-12 and there's plenty of other boys out there so don't set your heart on one guy.

Do however make it clear to your friend how you feel about him - she should be understanding if she was a true friend. She must then decide whether your feelings and your friendship mean more to her than this guy.

I hope this has helped and good luck in whatever you decide. Miss C xx

This follows the first question from Basketstar. My friend knows I like him since I point him out to her everyday. After a while into the school year my friend told me to tell him she thought he was hot. I didn't think anything about it until she asked for his number to call him.

One thing you should also consider in addition to the good advice by the others, is that at your age going steady or having just one special friend is not important.

What is important is that you do not hide things from those who are important to you like your friend. If you tell her how you feel and she gets all possessive and angry, then she is not a true friend.

You have to live your life and be happy with the choices you make. Be honest, be loyal, and just enjoy growing up.

Good luck.

carolinecooper agony auntMaybe you need to tell to your friend you have a crush on him :) Real friends will understand how you feel...and if she's your best friend, she'll understand and let you ask him.But in the case where she's got a crush on him...it'll be hard for you.I think, you have to do 2 things:

1)Talk to your friend and tell her

2)According to her answer and her reaction, talk with the boy and do the first step (maybe he is too shy to do it and maybe he really loves you but he's afraid)

I hope I have helped you ;)
