A female Ireland age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hi everyone,

My boyfriend of 3.5 years and I are going through quiet a rough patch at the moment. I have had a rough year after my brother being diagnosed with a mental illness but things are looking up, I got a job and im moving into my own place. Personally things are going well for me except I don’t even feel I have a relationship with my boyfriend because he his never willing to talk about our relationship. Our problems snowball without resolution and its clouding any happiness I do have in my life. How do men like to be approached about having a proper conversation? I can’t tell if he has any feelings for me or whether he just cannot express them. I feel like I am such a nag which is putting me in a bad light when I know that im a good girlfriend. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. x

hay there okay look i have this exact same problem with my girlfriend. you have to talk to him if you have not yet and tell him what you are feeling. ask him if he still cares about you. If he really does there should be no reason why he would hesitate with an answer.but if you keep feeling that way and he is not making you happy its time to go.
