Does anyone here believe spiritual love exists?

If so, what is your definition of spiritual love?

Have you experienced it or are you currently experiencing it? If yes, specify and qualify instances supporting related conviction.

Is spiritual love union specific, meaning once it exists between two people it will endure from one life time to the next between the exact two people only via a different form via reincarnation?

If indeed spiritual love exists, is it eternally predestined between the two people of it and therefore neither person will ever be able to escape it, even when both persons completely disappear from one another's physical lives leaving each other with zero information as to location and contact. Do spiritual love inevitably physically unite the two parties even if both parties use all power within their ability to separate in hiding?

Fionnlagh agony auntFirstly, I love your question and your theory on spiritual love.

I think two people can have a myriad of similarities between them and still not get along. I think spiritual love exists, but I think it should be approached just as equally as regular attraction (that of course grows into love). Two people can click (spiritually) but if you both ignore the signs and just cruise with the connection you two share without making any new connections together, then, I think spiritual love can fade, just the same.

There are only two girls in my life that I've ever truly loved, and most times when they've told me about themselves and the things they were into and not into, I would always think of the other girl. Not in a disrespectful way, just in a 'awe that's so strange' way. They were COMPLETE opposites to one another. Everything about them.

I don't know if this means they are both right for me or they are both wrong, or if this reflects more on the type of woman I attract or am attracted to, but because of all these moments I've (astutely) noticed, I know that spiritual love exists.

But it's no more special than love itself. They're one in the same I think. So don't worry so much about spiritual love and fate I say. (of course I only say that now because I'm still searching for answers myself)

The thing I know about love is; love will happen only when you are happy with yourself and where you are at in your life. It surprises you like a bonus achievement or something.

Interesting question.

KarlaMarie agony auntI looked at this is a differet may, and this is only my thought.

Im a christain, and my faith is important to me, i beleave we are all given free will... you could get up with anybody if you really wanted to.. but i also beleave that through prayer and through faith you can be matched up with the right person. i beleave that god has plans for everyone.

(yet again.. only my opinion) not starting a debate here as i know not everyone will agree with me and thats fair enough..

i dont beleave in spirtual love but i do believe if u follow the plans and gifts that are set out for you in love then somebody that is good for you will come along.. but that someone could be anyone
