Could my friend be interested in me?

A female Canada, *uzzie writes:

A guy that I'm just friends with was telling me a whole bunch of stories from when he was in highschool. I was curious to know when these events occured so I innocently asked him when he graduated from highschool. Well it turned out to be the same year that I was born! When I told him this I thought he had a very strange reaction. His face went bright red, and he looked really quilty, his eyes looked like a deer caught in the headlights! Also he couldnt look me in the eye for a while.

My question is does this mean that he might be interested in me as more than a friend? Why else would he have reacted that way? I told someone else and they said it might be because he thought he was robbing the cradle. What do you think?

If this is the only time you've ever suspected your friend is interested in you, I'm guessing he's more embarressed that he was caught lying about his age than anything. A lot of people will lie about their age just in general, trying to get with younger women is probably a large part of it, but I'm guessing he lies to pretty much everyone and you just caught him out.
