A male United Kingdom age 41-50, anonymous writes:

Quick question, health related, a bit embarrasing, but I had a small external hemorrhoid that is healing naturally, it doesn't hurt but what I want to know is, can I still go to gym and do my normal excerise, running cycling weights etc, or will it aggravate it, or should I wait for it to go completely?

Thanking you in advance

Having had the odd 'grape' now and then, I know what it feels like. Cycling might be a problem unless you stay off the saddle, but the rest won't do any harm.

If it (or they) come(s) back see if the doc thinks it's worth having them surgically sorted out. Meanwhile, a little 'Anusol' from the chemist applied after every bowel movement and last thing at night will make it more comfortable.
