A female age 30-35, anonymous writes:

What should I do about my boyfriend? I love him so much:(?

My boyfriend broke up with a couple of hours ago, he said he's not the guy for me he doesn't deserve me and I could find someone better who would give me everything I want in life, and he wants to be alone with out a girlfriend. But he said he still wants me loves me but he doesn't know if we'll make it to forever, cos he thinks about forever with me. He said sorry and I hung up.

Now he's rang me begging me to give him one more chance to make it up to me, cos he still loves me and he thought about it and it doesn't feel right that he's letting me go. He wants us to work it out.

Please help? What should I do? I love him so much..but I think he's confused, he says there's no one else (I believe him) he just wants me cos am a nice girl. and we're perfect together..x

Thanks..xx

A male reader, LovelessAct1 United States +, writes (27 February 2011):

Sounds like he just made a mistake. He was probably getting some stuff off of his chest and made a hasty decision in the process.

But, you need to watch out for this in the future. I know this guy who is actually quite a nice person, but he's broken up with his girlfriend four different times. Each time he says that he's unsure about being in a relationship and would rather be single, but always ends up realizing what he's giving up and comes back to her. Its seriously crushed her on several occasions and has brought about terrible stress in her life. When they're together, they're absolutely wonderful. But as soon as he's alone, he starts over thinking things and comes to dumb conclusions.

Maybe your boyfriend just made a one time mistake based on something he's going through; maybe he's the type of guy who will keep doing it. Before taking him back (if thats what you choose to do) you need to talk to him about it and tell him you won't tolerate this stuff again because it absolutely tears you apart to think that he's thinking things like that.
