A female , *leka writes:

Is he interested in me to be his girlfriend?

We started off as friends. He is a very private and distant person. Well that was my first impression of him so I always kept my distance from him.

In the last two weeks he has all of a sudden seemed to make initatives to spend time with me. He asked me at one time to join me at dinner at one occasion with my friend, been both bored at a concert he offered that we have dinner elsewhere. We did and we just spent most of the night talking.

He rings my best friend next morning and tells her about me. A person who doesn't dance much, after having heard me saying that I wanted to go dancing, he meets me and my friends at the club and he asked me to dance and we just danced like young kids. When I was about to leave he asked if I was going.

Then the coming Sunday, he arranges for a picnic where he calls my best friend and askes her to invite me. My best friend is quite surprised by his actions as he normally would not go to such length.

I like him a lot and would like to develop a relationship with but I am not so sure if he is interested in me or is he just being nice. How would I confirm if he likes me back? Please help me.

From the sound of it, he is definitely interested in more. It sounds like he is taking an iniative and trying to come up with reasons to be with you, so you don't need any confirmations. You can suggest an activity just for the two of you, see if he is interested in hanging out with you without other people. Go with the flow, get to know him better, and see where it leads! Best wishes.
