What does it mean if a guy told me that I can stay with him at his mother's place when I visit his country? Does this mean he's treating me as a friend, did he firend zone me or what? I did not even suggest visiting with him at any time soon? Any ideas? thanks in advance.

It sounds like he's telling you your welcome to visit and can stay at his mums (saves hotel bills) which is a big gesture showing he likes you and is being considerate?

Any more than that is hard to say on the information given
