 I think it varies for each individual, but generally crushes are short lived.
I would say that if you really like someone, like a crush then you would certainly be thinking about her after seeing her.
The duration of the crush could last for a few days, or go on for a while and develop into infatuation, then possible love.
Why don't you get chatting to him and find out some more about him.
