Hey buddy. I'm in my last year of school and will be off to uni next year. I have never had a boyfriend until recently and after about 4 months of being together i just couldn't be with him anymore i was "confused" myself i enjoy going out every weekend and partying and not having to worry "oh by the way i have a boyf" i'm young, willing and able and it's better to make dumb decisions why you're young (i think) anyway uni could be too stressful - going out helps her cope and maybe she just needs a breather. she could be going out and finding it much more fun if she's single. it could be she has found someone new.

the best way to know. talk to her.

good luck if you really love her fight for her. i wish my boyfriend had of.

David Lewis agony auntTo be honest with you, I don't think the drink is messing with her feelings. I feel she has somebody else on her mind. I think she has met somebody at University and has plans with him, maybe this is why she is drinking much more. You both need to have a good talk and find out if you are the only person for her.

Confusion is usually used as another way of telling somebody they want to be with someone else. I have been told this on a number of occasions. I eventually found this to mean, BTW hun, I am sleeping with somebody.

Sorry if this sounds harsh and I hope I am wrong, but from personal experience, confusion is an excuse.
