Just ask him about his life, what shows/music hes into, what his plans are for the future, where hes traveled or where he wants to go.
Basically, if a guy likes you, and not just trying to get in your pants, they just like talking and you really cant go wrong.

 What his interests and hobbies are, how many siblings he has, does he like animals, what's his favorite animal, what's his favorite food, etc. Hope that helps a little if not much.
