If it's NOT impacting on work/school/social life then it's not too much.
I'm female and there were days in the past (i'm 53 now so it's not as common) where i would do it 2 or 3 times a day.

PS. Also, I think it's good that you don't watch porn, because it can be addicting and usually teaches men awful sexual technique anyway.

 Maybe you should look at why it makes you feel horrible about yourself? Most people masturbate frequently and see no problem with it so what makes you different? What are your views towards sex in general?
