Special Day

Can I share something special with my 'DearCupid' family? Today I turned 51 years old. It was going to be a typical sunday like any other day--you know, cooking, housecleaning, doing laundry, cleaning bathrooms (yech), driving my teen son and his friends to the movies. (taxi-Mom) Except much to my surprise and joy, it turned out to be quite an an extrodinary day. My beloved guy of 3 years, gave me a gorgeous diamond engagement ring! Never had such a beautiful thing happen to me (except the birth of my children). Love does truly come at any age. So here I am---after raising kids, enduring a stressful divorce, depression, vast struggles and pain like so many of us do...my ship has finally sailed in! My diamond ring of white gold..is wonderful. But you know what and this may sound corny but I don't care. Love is the only gold, isn't it? I'm literally floating around here today!!. Life is amazing! Wow..lol Thanks for listening, guys and letting me share. XXOO

Pete and Malyce, What dears you are! Thanks so much for the wonderful congrats. A romantic wedding on a beach at sunset, somewhere...is being planned. Damn, that means I'll have to drag out my white bikini (Yikes! Scary thought- haven't worn it in years!) lol Perhaps a nice strapless, off-white, breezy, flowing, summer dress will do and barefoot, of course. Does anyone out there, know of a nice hotspots, where there is awesome, white, sandy beaches, beautiful sunsets and an available justice of the peace? I'm open to any suggestions. heehee
