A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

me and my ex girlfriend were together for 7 months we fell in love with each other. Well this friend from her past comes back in her life after being gone 5 years. well my ex says that she still has feelings for this other girl she didnt know how to tell me because she loves both of us. my ex even made the comment i ask myself if i had made the right choice in breaking up with me, my ex still talks to me and still comes over she almost cheated on her gf with me the other night. She says that its so hard for her because she wants to be with me but she cant. and always tells me that she misses me and loves me even when she is with her gf. I love her i dont know what to do i want to be with her. She is even spending this week with me and my family for christmas help me out please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She sounds like a player to me. Obviously she can't commit to either one of you so I think the better question would be, do you really want to be with her after that? If you're into monogamy I don't think its going to work until she matures a little. Sorry for your troubles, and good luck.
