writes:heya,i'm with my bf 14 months over the last 4 months wen we have sex occasionally i do get very sore pains just at the end of my stomach, i mean these pains to be so painfull, i dont get them till like the day after we have it and the pain last about 2-3 days. i have been to my doctors she said there's nothin wrong were not doin anythin different when we have sex. we have been having sex since 3 months into the relationship. i have the mirena coil in and ever since i got it in i've had problems with it i went to my doctor about getting it taking out but she said its the safest type of contraception i can get. i dont want to get pregnant i already have a 5 year old and i'm only 21 so going on a type of pill contraception is out of the question as i use to forget to take it. i'm just wondering has anyone else ever experienced any sort of pains like this after sex.any advice is welcome thank you Reply to this Question

One of my friends had mirena and said that it was also very painful for her after sex. Have you tried the shot? You have to get it every 3 months so its a lot easier then taking a pill everyday. When I got it I didn't get my period at all... they say you either don't get it at all or get it the whole time (bad part). but its just as effective.

 I often get this with polysystic ovaries . I got diagnosed with it a few month ago. If i have rough sex it sets me off, but the pain is unbareable i cant even stand up.
