How do I handle a stubborn ex husband in a divorce?

Question - (6 May 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 6 May 2011)
A female Canada age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I am getting a divorce and my husband does not want to pay anything and is making excuses. I feel numb and I hate it. I'm going through a family crisis and I can't feel anything. I know I should but I just can't. Is this normal and when am I going to become normal if I'm not?

Any advice on how I could get better.

A male reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2011):

That's why you get a lawyer! They handle the divorce and you just communicate with them, not your soon to be ex husband.

People in a divorce usually don't communicate well at all to answer your question. That's why there are divorce lawyers.
