writes:I have a bit of a problem, I've been having bleeding during the month especially after having sex, which only stops when I have my pill free week. About a week ago I last had sex and ive been in pain since. The only way I can describe it is like two small lumps in my groin that are very tender to touch and painful when i walk. It's almost like that period pain feeling you get that travels down the groin into the legs.I have no idea where I can find out what it is, it doesn't seem to be a symptom for anything Ive looked at. I'll obviously go to the doctors asap but just wondered if anyone else has experienced this?

reader, anonymous, writes (1 February 2009): yeah I just realised what they are as well thanks for ur advice. I usually get bad tonsilitus and they swell up but had an infection about 6 months ago possibly cystitus. Had tests a few weeks ago and they all came back clear for infections so Im really confused now. Ive never not used condoms either.
