 If you cheated on your first love with a second who is now out of the picture, you can beg your first love to take you back, but no guarantees.
I'd be inclined to think the sex was not so "accidental" since it was followed by a relationship. Chances are, your first love will, too. You can start your begging with accepting responsibility and that means not trying to make it seem like it was not your fault.
If not, then I also need a translator.

 An accidental sex I believe is an encounter outside of the relationship. I heard that term only one time, and it was in Nepal.
So I think he is trying to say he may have had to leave her because one of them cheated.
