writes:Im baaaaaaaaack..well it's been a minute since i've been on cupid and just to update everyone on whats going on with my life..im still with my fiancee, he's been laid off for a year and two months. I've gotten my GED and now I am enrolling into Southeastern Louisiana University in May of 2010. Im so excited and determined to go already. My son will also be goin to the University's Head Start while I am in skoo..and about my dude, I dont know and i dont care..He's so afraid of losing me and my son but he just won't go out and get a friggin job..thas all i want him to do..but hes been saying that i am dogging him out constantly and he won't care if i leave him with our son..he says life goes on, but when i do get myself out the situation he says he sorry and all dat BS.I am just tired..and on top of that, i got evicted from our apartment and im the only one working. he is soooooooo negative. i can't even stay at his peoples house cause they're negative as well..they feed him words about me leaving him, cuz i started working and going to skoo..and den after work i go and find myself a place to lay my head while he is at his people acting like he worryin about me..im doing all that i can to get a roof over my head. and he aint..he likes to be under his people cuz he aint gotta worry about rent cuz his peoples house is paid for..i dont care..i'd rather starve than to go back there..his mother kicked me and my son out when i first met them..i've been taking in a whole lotta bullshit from his family and him..i dont kno what to do anymore..i try to surround myself around positive people, i went back to church and im doing skoo and trying so hard to hold on to this little job that i have..what am i supposed to do..can someone please call 911..lol..any help anyone??????????? major help is needed..

reader, anonymous, writes (24 January 2010): You and your son deserve a better life. You are doing a brilliant job in setting up a good life by working and going back to school. As for that guy, some people don't have any ambition or dreams and he doesn't sound like he wants to achieve anything in life. If he won't get a job, what sort of role model is he to your child?
You on the otherhand are setting a great example by studying and providing single handedly for him. You don't want that dead beat guy dragging down your standards for yourself or your son.
I hope you find the inner strength to leave this man, be strong and good luck to you and your child in the future.

He seems like unnecessary baggage in your life and maybe a little bit of drama that you really don't need. You have a son and you're getting yourself an education. A man like yours is just there to mooch off you until you have nothing left.
GET OUT OF THIS DESTRUCTIVE RELATIONSHIP!!!
