writes:ok, i don't know if this is a petty question but, a girl i am losing my mind over has been chatting to me on msn and replying to me on texts and emails but she now leaves off the x. i put one in everytime, she started leaving them in emails but now has stopped. I know she's a really nice girl and doesn't like hurting people so does this mean she's not interested and talking to me to be polite? i'd hate think i'm pestering this girl but also can't bare the thought of giving up. she has agreed a couple of times to meet up so she can't dislike me too much...can she?

 One way to find out, meet up. If she doesn't want to meet up, theres your answer. Its a bit of a nobrainer really.
