Poetry In Motion

I remember the firt time I fell in love with poetry. It was in grade three. We were instructed to write a halloween poem. I got an A for my poem. I still think when it comes to poetry; that it shouldn't be graded as it is expression and creation of someone-and that is sheer beauty.

The Girl That I Am

Always was the one to be seen

With eyes turned up to the skies;

Enjoying the miracle of breathing,

feeling, living.

Always was the one who was

Saddened by the broken of heart;

Loving and forgiving those who

Wounded, used, and miselad me.

Always was the one who held

A hope for the world;

Seeing its potential for greatness,

Grandeur and goodness.

Always to be someone who

Keeps her suffering deep inside;

And just focus on

Smiling, laughing, and loving.

Always seems to be forever

When you are still seeking for your

Hopes, dreams, and wishes

To come to pass.

Yah, Eddie is fab as are you.

There is nothing wrong with having your view and belief and eventhough we have divergent ones on some topics, this does not cloud over the fact that seeing someone else's perspective and listening to it causes me to expand my understanding. This in no way means I convert but I do learn and it does broaden my mind.

I adore what you have to say, you are clever witted, highly intelligent, alive, and sometimes I can envision your brain going a mile a milli-second.

And as much as you enjoy playing devil's advocate, you are more for doing your best to teach others about themselves, you do desire them to gain understanding as it is ignorance and lack of acceptance of other's as they are that cause many a misunderstanding and hurt feelings.

Your kewl and it's good to hear from you. :D
