Could be. The only way to answer this really is from your own female perspective.

Why I would where sexy undies; if someone was going to see them; if I had perhaps lost weight and was feeling good about my body; if none of my average undies were clean; if I could afford them!

It is something to be alerted to, but not proof.

Have you asked her? Maybe it's a favour for you. Or she fancied having sexy underwear for a change,to feel better, wanted without endagering the relationship. By the way, I hope you've got a couple of things to wear that are hot too. There expensive, but it's like wearing a proper eau de toilette, it finishes you off. Or, ask her to shave your balls, and trim the rest and go without. I love it when my husband does that.
