And because of this anyone i like - i cant act normal and like myself around because of how i lock up. But this has also made me have problems with people i just thought of as friends and am not attracted to began to like me because i can act normal around them. Any help on how to help deal with this shyness is appreciated. And i realize there a person just like me thats not the problem....

Moviefan is verified as being by the original poster of the questioni can see your point but whenever i like someone i always think of them like a girlfriend as stated and its hard to shake that, i guess ill have to try. Thanks for the help. And ive also wonderd if i dated one of my friends would it help cure this shyness around people i like because i have never really done anything including kissing someone. I have had my chances but things always intervene for better or worse,
