We've been together for over 3 years, lived together for over 2 and are planning to stay together for the long run. The only reason I'm thinking about kids now is that I'm 23, but my boyfriend is 32. I feel like I have quite a few years left before I'd feel like an old mom, but I don't want them to have a super old dad, either. I'd like us to be in our 30s at the oldest when our kids are born. We both have our BAs and are working pretty good jobs, but are also interested in going back to school to get MAs.What is a good compromise age for us to have a baby? Thank you for your advice in advance! :) Reply to this Question Share |

when you are 30 he will be 30... it's going to be hard for both of you to be in your 30s...
I had my first at age 24 and I loved being a young MARRIED mother.
I am very OLD SCHOOL and I believe in "first comes love, then comes marriage THEN comes BABY"
Even Brad and Angelina got married finally.. WHY? because the KIDS wanted them to.
This is really a choice for you and your babies' father to make....

Its not about an age compromise. It should be when both partners are ready and committed to brining a life onto this earth. Also some people want to be financially stable before taking on the responsibility. You are young so no need to rush enjoy one another and when you both are ready it will happen.

please wait 23 is way too young my twenties are the best years of my life your twenties are to get all of your selfish time out of the way so that when you have children you can give 100% to those children and never feel like you're missing out on anything that you were supposed to do in your youth I waited until I was 29 to have my son and it was the best thing I could have done as a mother.
