willywombat agony auntDon't lie to your Mum. If she finds out that will be her trust in you destroyed and it will take a long time to earn that back. Tell her, she will be waiting for this sort of thing anyway, it is just her *little girl* growing up!

Have a good and safe time xxx

Your mum should be the one person you should be honest with. If you are embaressed about telling her beacause it's aboys b'day party tell her your'e going to support a mate or tell her the boy is just your mate. If you are embaressed about telling her because you think she will say no then there would be a very good reason for her desicion. I know this doesn't make it any easier but make sure you ask her why you can't go before you start having a go. Hope this hepls!

Tell her where you are going, becuase if anything happens she needs to know where you are. But she dosen't have to know anything about any goings on between you and him (if there is or will be any).

Don't lie. It never works out well.

I know how you feel, I used to feel the same way at your age and it is so embarassing.

Maybe say that your group of friends has been invited by him to his party and you want be a part of that group that goes. Make it sound like its just a party and lots of people are going, including friends of yours.

If you lie to your mum and she finds out, it will be hard for her to trust you in the future. I know its embarrassing but its worth telling the truth. I'm sure your mum will be fine with it.

Good luck and have fun!
