femmenoir agony auntHi,

your sister should respect the fact that you once dated this guy & that he couldn't have been completely up to scratch, or else you'd have still remained with him.

That doesn't mean that he was a bad guy, on the contrary, but you guys broke up bec something wasn't right.

If your sister goes out with him, things will get messy for sure, not to mention the fact that you will have to face your ex regularly.

Mention to your sister that you're not too happy about what she is planning/doing & that she should pick/find another person to date.

Someone new & not associated with you in any way.

May i also add, that with all due respect, you & your sister are still very young.

I would advise you both to focus on your studies & futures, first & foremost.

There is plenty of time to date, later down the line.

Good luck & let us know how you both go! :-)

YouWish agony auntYou should be honest with your sister. This guy is only 1 of a billion other women in the world.

She's doing the right thing by talking to you about it first. That's being a good sister. And it's possible you may get over your bitter feelings for him and wish both of them well.

However, why did you and the guy break up? You didn't mention why, and if he cheated on you or did something really nasty, your sister needs to know about that.

Do not feel bad telling her how you feel. Blood is thicker than water and infatuation. If my sister dated a guy who mistreated her or cheated on her, I don't care what kind of crush I had on the guy, she comes first. End of story.
