When we met, he had a girlfriend but we became very close friends although even then I fancied him a bit.About a month ago he broke up with his girlfriend and it's as if my head has allowed me to develop feelings for him now, and I really have fallen for him. I know he's probably still hurting from his previous relationship and my biggest priorities are his happiness and our friendship, but how should I go about introducing the idea of us as more than friends? Is it even appropriate for me to do so?Thank you in advance x

Bambina is verified as being by the original poster of the questionYeah we are taking things slowly, it's going well though and we communicate really openly. I've actually discussed the whole rebound issue with him and we're still very good friends aside from dating so it feels good :)
Thanks for your concern though! x

He just broke up with her a month ago, it's still a little soon. Plus you don't want to be the rebound relationship. That won't end well for you.
Why don't you try talking to him about relationships in general, and see where he stand on the topic. Is he wanting to be single for a while? Is he over his ex?
If his answers are good, then within a few weeks, I'd let him know you like him more than a friend.
