Is this a common thought?I'm a bit worried as I'm 10 years younger than my boyfriend and the last thing I want is another way of reminding him of our age difference.

reader, anonymous, writes (6 April 2007): Can't speak for all guys, but it is not really a turn-on for me. At least not "more" of a turn on. My sig other tried it once, as a kind of experiment. She tired of the daily "maintenance", and it didn't do much for me, so she stopped. I am one of the "old school", I guess. Female pubic hair can be very erotic. (A little "neatness" doesn't hurt).

ive never heard any guy say they prefer hair, i know the exist but no one i kno.everyone has a personal preferance, if he didnt like it im sure hed tell you, if your still unsure why dont you just ask? key to relationships is communication!!i personally think clean shaven is the way forward but then im a big fan of 'getting down' and hate a beard rash when i come up for air lol

 You'd probably be surprised, actually. Most guys go for a clean-shaven girl. At least mine does, and me and you are about the same age, and my guy is actually a few months younger than me. I think it has to do with it being risque`, since pornstars are known for shaving up really close. I don't shave right down to the skin because I have very, very sensitive skin, but it's pretty much the same thing. Actually, I feel the opposite way towards guys, though. It makes me feel like my boyfriend is pre-pubescent if he trims up really close...Agh!
But when it right down to it, you should do what you feel is best for you...And if your partner is older than you, then chances are he won't mind you shaving up. He's probably seen it before, so don't worry. :)
