A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hey,

Alright I know it's near enough impossible that I have it but I'm quite worried now.

I read the symptoms for swine flu and I have a few of them, now I know it's more than likely a cold or some sort of flu - or it could maybe be my body reacting to stress that I've been under.

Well I know that I'm over-reacting here, I live in Eastbourne. But some advice would be great =]

Sorry about this my mind goes a bit crazy sometimes and I just need to put it to rest at the moment =]

Thanks

StudentOfLife agony auntThere's more people who died of Malaria last week than known case of swine flu.

They'll say anything for you to keep watching T.V., not saying that it doesn't exist, just saying that there's currently lot more devastating disease and that the reason why you hear "swine flue" more is because it's new, it's bad news, and it sells like hot bread.

It's this year "disease trend to scare the sheeps", I think last year was the mosquito that was given some sort of disease.

I bet next year trend's going to be the "Moose Fever"

ArmyMedic agony auntI was wondering when we would get our first swine flu post, if you think there is a chance you have swine flu DO NOT go to your doctor, instead call NHS direct on 0845 46 47 (I know it looks short but that is the number) also check out these links:

http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Swineflu/DG_177831

http://www.nhs.uk/Conditions/Pandemic-flu/Pages/QA.aspx

Keep yourself away from other people and ALWAYS cough and sneeze into a tissue and then bin it straight away! Also regular hand washing will help. Swine flu is not that dangerous (especially to a fit young adult) it has killed less people than normal flu so far and is mostly media hype.

But to be honest you have probably got seasonal rhinitis (GOOGLE it) not swine flu!
