writes:I have a crush on this guy and he sms'd me asking me how i was and what i've been doing, he then asked me to call him one day when i go out so that we could catch up. The thing is, my guy friend says that i shouldnt call up my crush but wait until he calls me even though i told him i would call him, so that i don't look too keen. I'm confused...what should i do? and does my crush sound like he is interested in me or just being friendly?

I think the guy is interested, but not pushy; he might be shy or just cautious;
No harm in calling him and arrange to meet him to "catch up".

He sounds like he's interested, and playing games so you don't come across as too 'keen' can go badly wrong - he might well end up thinking you're not interested at all, and move onto someone else. He's made a move by asking you to call him, now the ball is in your court - go for it!

 I say give it a shot and call him, can't hurt. If you leave it for too long he might think you're not interested or don't care about him. Besides, he asked you to call him didn't he? He might have a crush on you and he might not have a crush on you, regardless you should call him anyway, life's too short, take some risks!
