A female reader, Annalisa United Kingdom +, writes (22 January 2008):

Annalisa agony auntGiving birth can be traumatic and certainly makes us feel we've changed hugely. There might be scarrs or the fact that she's loosened up a lot, so she probably feels ugly and unsexy. You could make sure you pay her lots of compliments out of the bedroom! Make sure she knows you still find her beautiful and sexy, and she might slowly let you back where you're no longer allowed.

When you try to understand why she's so shy, make it plain that you care and that you want to make love to her for her sake, not just for yourself. I'm sure that is the case, but she might not think so.

I hope I helped a little. Good luck!

Laura1318 agony auntIt is possible that you wife is having a low self esteem and her body has changed and she may feel ugly and do not want you to touch there. Some women feel ashamed to tell you the reasons and you just have to accept that she does not like it. Period.
