Without actually asking your boy friend why, I think is is hard to be exactly sure why he is doing this to you. He may even think that it is something you like him to do.
You mentioned that you do not mind if he does this to you once in a while. Have you ever mentioned this to your boy friend? Compromise is always great and helps build a better relationship.
I would recommend talking to your boy friend about this, expressing your feeling about what he is doing, and seeing if both of you together can compromise and make the activity good for both of you as often as possible.

As for his motivation, two possible reasons come to mind. It could be feeling disrespect for you or he could be showing his domination over you. If he deeply loves you (and you've not indicated whether he does or doesn't) I doubt it is out of disrespect and is more due to domination.
