writes:broke up with my ex..of four months. he had a pretty straight face through the first week. then he started leaning towards the emotional side yesterday. then today, he went crazy with the flirting and told me how much he missed me. then he hugged me...and it was one of those tight ..romantic embraces. he then told me how much he missed me again. and how pretty i looked..and how i was looking that pretty to make him feel bad that he can't have me. and his innuendo of getting back together was all clear now. and i was excited..cause i still like him.he then burst my happy bubble and asked me to hook up with him. i asked him why...and he said just because he wants to. i feel disgusted.....why doesn't he want to get back together and why would he want to hook up instead!?

reader, anonymous, writes (28 May 2008): to be honest i think he's just being a guy...he doesnt want a steady relationship, he just wants a quickie. All though some people use "hook up" and "get back together" as the same thing, but it just depends who you are and stuff. anywho, i dont think he's worth your time. If a guy tells you all that stuff then asks to just hook up, he's a DICK, ive had lots of guys like that, just move on, you deserve better...
