A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hi there. I have had quite a few unsuccessful dating experiences lately. I finished with my boyfriend in February and met a lovely guy. He was so nice, he told me he hadnt felt this way about anyone for a long time. Then i found out that he lived with his ex girlfriend and said it wasnt on,and i was considering getting back with my ex-just because i was hurt. He said fine and then 3 weeks later he was actually back with his ex who he hadnt been with for over a year previously!I then saw him out and he said he would stay with me if he knew that I would stay with him.

I left that behind me and met another guy. I found out he had a girlfriend, but he said he liked me.

Then about 2 months ago I met another guy who i really really liked. He was from another country and had recently moved to the UK. I thought I had finally met a lovley guy. Then he left his facebook logged onto my computer and i found out he was ENGAGED!!!!!he said he is engaged to a girl back home, but likes me now.

Im so fed up of being girl number 2 :( I just want to be somebodys girl, not second best :(

Why does it happen to me :(xx

Woman,

You must learn from the previous experiences you have had so far. Before you fully give your heart to someone, get to know the person more through constant communication and interactions and listening to their stories, you will be able to pick up lies e.t.c

No particular reason other than bad stuff sometimes happens to good people. It's not you, it's just luck. Keep an eye open for new guys, get to know them, and you will find someone. xx

eyeswideopen agony auntAww you've just had a run of bad luck that's all. Chin up and keep your line in the water, you'll snag a keeper sooner or later.
