 From a male point of view, I find watching a woman masturbate to be incredibly sexy.
There are several factors why. During penetrative sex, a man in the missionary position has fairly limited vision of a partner, depending on where the couple find the most comfort. I like to be able to see my partners face, so I tend to vary from being close enough to kiss, to being in the 'press up' position, where I can see her breasts and stomach moving. In other positions I cannot even see her face, and I love to as she approaches and reaches an orgasm.
When she masturbates I can see her in her completeness. Face, breasts, hands, arms, hips, legs all in action as she gets more frantic and loses control of herself. What is not to like about that?
It depends on how comfortable you feel about allowing someone, even your husband or close boyfriend, to see you this way. It is also an admission that yes, you do masturbate, and this is how.
Everyone does, I am not sure why some people feel so uncomfortable about the subject. I know my Mum did, I guess my Dad still does, my friends do, their partners do. I think many men just want to SEE their partner at the height of pleasure, and watch how it is done for future reference.

 I'm not a guy, so I don't know firsthand, but my theory is that guys spend so much of their lives feeling really super horny but girls don't often talk about being horny, so SEEING evidence of a girl's horniness is really exciting. It must be cool to see a girl making herself feel good, because they love masturbating to make themselves feel good. I think it's like seeing a sexy little secret. That's just my guess, though.  Men are generally very visual. They like to look. Perhaps us girls are never supposed to truely understand it ourselves, but there is supposedly something very sexy about watching a girl touch herself, and bring herself pleasure and even make herself orgasm. It lets a guy into our minds, what we like and what we do when we get ourselves off. Men tend to be much more open about masturbation whereas girls are generally more secretive. Why, im not so sure. But perhaps it is because of this that men enjoy watching us do it? Maybe its the idea of getting an insight to what us girls like to do to yourselves when we're alone, stuff that guys can only imagine or see in unrealistic, over dramatic porn films. Some girls/boys like to watch their partners do it because they get to see how he/she likes it, and they find it sexy to think of their partner pleasuring themselves. But that's just some people. Everyone is different. You're not weird or anything if you dont think its sexy, and you shouldnt ever do it unless you feel totally comfortable. But i will say keep your mind open!  Different guys have different preferences. Not all guys like watching stuff like that. Maybe your boyfriend just has some kind of a voyeuristic preference to sex.
