I never had a boyfriend who liked/wanted to try this. So my guess is your boyfriend has been watching a lot of porn. This is what they do in porn. And people in general like to try out the things they've seen others do. Same with me, I've seen this in porn/read about it (as for many girls, erotic novels are much more of a turn on than porn). As a girl are completely participating in this "dirty" part of us that we grew up feeling at least kind of ashamed about. Hence why Cerberus' answer is right, although I don't know if I'd equate it with spitting in someone's face. But it's definitely a form of ownership and dominance, and let's face it, the majority of guys have a fantasy of being dominant in bed, and the majority of women have a fantasy of being dominated.
