 Personally I think that some female music artist and the likes set the benchmark for what young impressionable women choose to wear. Again personally, I think it looks cheap and nasty to be walking around with your arse hanging out. Woman should be allowed to wear what ever they want, yes I get that BUT I don't like having my young son involuntary exposed to such sexually provocative young women when we are out and about doing daily things at the mall etc. I wonder if it would ever be ok for men to walk around exposing their genitals just under the hem of their shorts? I mean we do live in a world where we women strive for equality but sadly I think he would not have the fashion police after him, but instead the real police for indecent exposure.

 Why? I think because they like the style. Not my cup of tea, but then again we all have different ideas of what is nice to wear. I sometimes think they dont know their bum cheeks are showing.

If they are brave enough to have half their bum-cheeks sticking out, more power to them. Who cares?
If you don't like wearing shorts that short then don't, I doubt no one is trying to "force" you to do so.
When it comes to fashion people do whatever the F they want, or what they feel is comfy, sexy, complimentary, suitable etc.
Pretty sure you are not the fashion Police so... Live and let live.
