A female Australia age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend of 3 years never invites me out with him. He goes out every friday night with his work friends and has only ever asked me to join them once in 3 years. I always invite him to join my friends and I but he never feels inclined to have me along too? I'm confused as to what this means?

Have you asked to join him and has he declined?

You have been with him for three years, surely you feel comfortable enough to ask him why? Has he given you any feedback?

What happened that time that you went out with him?

Basically, I do not think that it is a problem for a guy to want to do some things alone, but if you guys aren't talking about it, then there is a problem. Basicaly, it does NOT mean that he is having an affair, but after three years there should be some more open communication with eachother.
