I don't know which one should I follow... my mind or my heart??? I know in my mind that she's really not for me. My mind always tells me to leave her because I know in the future she will be gone for me, We're not happy any more and we're always fighting each other because of jealousy. But when I tried to leave her, my heart cries out loud leaving her, seeing her tears falling down from her eyes so I came back to her. Now, I'm still in the situation of being confused. I don't like her in my mind but I love her in my heart.

Duckyhelp agony auntYour mind, your mind always knows best. Its better to leave her now, before making yourself seriously dislike her and treat her like crap. You do it now, your both young so you both have time to move on and get on with life and find better partners. She will cry, but in a year or less she will be basicaly over you. Dump her and cut her out of your life before your trapped.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (11 July 2010):

In my opinion you are too young to be feeling this way. This is not a healthy relationship for obvious reasons.

Break up with her and tell her you are not going to contact her again and wish her to do the same. Ask her to have respect for the fact that this isn't' working out, you both need go your seperate ways and focus on your own individual goals, and you need time and space to heal emotionally from this break up. Tell her you are being kind to her to stay away from her, and she must do the same, or you will have to hurt her even more by rejecting her advances.

That is the truth, it is direct, it's honest and it gets to the heart of the matter.

Post it on your mirror, memorize it, break up with her in person in a public place and expect tears, leave then cry your own and get on with your life.

Like I said you are too young to be so seriously guilt ridden about this girl. She will be fine and so will you.

You need to listen to your head. Your head is saying she's not the one, neither of you are happy, you're fighting, there's jealously. To be honest, this is a toxic relationship that seems to be going no further. Listen to your head, leave her and cut contact. Spend time alone getting over her, and you'll find that you've made the right decision. Then you'll find someone who you really do know is right for you.
