Mods Note: OPs own title: So lets call this guy J. Me and J met 4 years ago on the computer thru a netural friend. (He was my moms friends step son before his dad and her broke up) So basically her x step son. Anyways, we clicked so quickly and would talk for hours, almost the whole day. He didn't live by me but came to visit in the summer time and it was just before summer. Eventually he came and we hungout alot but hes the type to be with alot of girls so he ended up hooking up with my bestfriend at the time. I got very upset and stopped talking to him and made a very stupid mistake, I dated his brother because he happened to like me. Then me and J started talking again during the year just like we used to and hungout in the summer but by the end of the summer I found out he was also doing stuff with another girl so once again it ended bad. We talked only a little during that year, hungout during summer. Then, this year we did not talk almost at all. Not really for any reason we just didn't and as soon as he got here this summer he texted me and we hungout. Every time I see him its like I fall in love all over again. I don't know why. I can think of alot more bad things about him then good but the thing that beats everything is that I love him. I'm not sure if I should continue talking to him. We can't just be friends and I don't see a future of us dating because of the past. I feel like I'd do anything for him and this year he seems so different though. He used to always tell me he loved me and missed me and now only says those things back to me when I say it first. We've known eachother for so long and have no reason to not talk anymore but i don't want to be attatched to this guy forever unless he'll be with me and just me but as of now theres no sign of that happening... So is there a point on keeping his 'friendship' ?
