This is not REALLY a sex question but I guess it's a sexual health question... and I really wanted to see if anyone has the same problem as me...

I am a 21 year old female who's been sexually active since I was 17. I have no significant medical history and I haven't seen a gynecologist previously. Approx 6months - 1 year ago, I discovered a fleshy string approx 0.5cm long hanging above my vaginal opening that seems to be attached to/originate from the libia minora. I was concerned but did not take any action. However it seems to have gotten bigger in the recent 2 months where I have a new sex partner but we use a condom evertime we have sex. It is now approximately 1 cm long and gets slightly bigger after sex. It feels soft and squishy but I cannot feel anything when I squish it or touch it. However if I try to tug it I can feel slight pain as I said it seems to be attached to the libia minora. It does not cause me any pain, itch or discomfort if I don't touch it, however I'm still concerned for both my health and my vaginal appearance. Please help. Thanks

Go see a doctor.

The fact that it has recently changed could mean it's not just a skin tag, but something worse.

Go see a doctor about it.

VSAddict agony auntGo to your gynacologist. Only they can give you peace of mind and know what this is. Even if you think it's nothing to worry about, go to the doctor anyways.
