What should I say or do to apologise to my friend?

A female United Kingdom age 26-29, *iccanWonder writes:

heya!

My birthday is comming up, and i wanted to invite some of my friends to stay over my house, but one of my friends mums doesnt like me, after an argument between me and my friend, i would still like her to stay, but her mum wont let her, as my friend even said her mum wont let her stay over...

What should i say or do to apologise to her?

Bombshelley agony aunti understand, im abit of a joker, and decided to play a prank of a friend, most people would of laughed, but she didnt see then funny side to it, nor did her mum,

i think you should just explain things, say sorry, and hopefully all will get sorted out :)

i like the idea waterloo sunset surgested about the card :)

WiccanWonder agony auntIts annoying though! My friend even admitted SHE started the argument, and her mum used to like me, i guess im just not used to having people not like me well adults not like me =-/

Just an idea but why dont you send her a pretty little card and write on it that you want her to come and stay and you want her as a friend. Dont go over the top but really her parents shouldnt get involved in disputes that involve kids. I never got involved when my kids fell out with their pals, it just aint worth it and besides they are mates the next day. You maybe have to accept that her mum will never like you, childish i know.
