 First of all, make sure that you are relaxed and ready for sex. Foreplay is very important to get you in the mood and lubricated enough for penetration.
If you are on top, then you are in control of how much you will take, how fast, how deep, etc; and you can stop whenever you feel uncomfortable.
It goes without saying that your man should love and respect you - which is why it is so important for your first time that it should really be with a man you love, trust and feel 'right' with.
