 1. Put heart shaped ice cubes in his drinks
2. Have a picture of the two of you printed on a pair of coffee mugs.
3. Write "I love you" on the kitchen table in grapes, cherries, or whatever his favorite fruit is -- then leave it there for him to find.
4. Make him a CD of romantic songs you both love. Then pop it into the car stereo.
5. Put a candy heart in his jacket pocket once a week.
6. Apply your signature lipstick, then kiss a bunch of Post-its and scatter them in the book he's reading.
7. One morning, wake him up early and invite him to the back porch to watch the sun rise.
8. Rediscover your silly side and tickle him -- often.
9. Set up a tent in your backyard and lead him outdoors so you can sleep under the stars.
10. Give your lover a romantic massage
11. Buy flowers for his mother to thank her for bringing such a special person into the world
12.Make a romantic picture frame for him with your favorite photo of you together
13. Take him to a romantic park to push him on a swing
14. Leave stick it notes in his pocket, shoes, pillow, fridge with endearing messages.
15. Paint "I love you John Smith" on a white sheet and pin it where everyone can see it!
16. Make him a romantic calendar with a different picture of you together for each month
17. Paint a picture of him to keep, no matter how awful your painting skills
18. Pack a special, romantic picnic for you both
19. Start a romantic blog for him with pictures and posts about your relationship
20. Surprise him with romantic rose petals on the pillows at bedtime

reader, anonymous, writes (6 March 2007): If you don't want to say 'i love you' to him why don't you give him a card saying how you feel. Also you could give him some chocolates (his favourite type) as well.
