reader, anonymous, writes (20 July 2010): I think true love is when you meet someone who you would do anything for, and be anything for. In my experience, your whole life kind of alters. Instead of everything revolving around you and what you want out of life, the focus shifts to the other person, and the other person's focus shifts to you. It's an intense feeling. Rather scary at first.
Sex does not determine if you love someone, although it is so much better with someone you truly love. Sex can be purely physical, but it can also be a great gift and sharing of love.

True love can transcend any human barrier. It's true that I love making love to my fiance and we have a very physical relationship. However should that stop, or anything happen, I will still love him. When you find your soul mate there can be no other. Sex, is just something on the physical level, the connection you have on a spiritual level is above and beyond that of the body, surpassing it.
I fell in love with my fiance when I was 13, he was 22. Though we didn't get it together until I was over 16. For 2 years, I held him in my heart - he didn't know how I felt. yet every time his name was mentioned or I associated something with him it bought back that connection.
Had it not worked out, I would still love him. When you find your true love, its beyond the here and now it is forever.
