What is the best way to ask a friend for advice on a relationship issue? I want to ask a mate over this girl i like and something that happened between us, but am kind of reluctant to. I trust my friend, but guess it might seem like i'm bragging (i think the background to my problem will come as a complete suprise to him) when i actually just want an honest opinion on my problem.

Don't get me wrong, its good to get a range of opinions from here, but naturally you guys can't fully understand the circumstances! Plus i feel asking a friend in person will help me open up and talking things over might help things in my head a bit i guess.

Royofthe Rovers agony auntIf he is a good friend you should just come out with it. A good friend wont judge you or hold a grudge, (depending on what the suprise is). Dont under estimate a good friend and their ability to listen.
