 I don't believe in soul mates. But what it means is basically just that person who you love so so much. You may have many partners in your life, but there will always be one or two who you love more than any of them.
The best thing I can think to compare it to at the moment is if you've ever seen Sex and The City. Out of all the people Carrie dated, Aidean and Big always stuck with her. Two guys who were incredibly hard for her to get over and who she would always think of.

 A soulmate is someone that you find in life that you want to grow old with, and spend the rest of your life together.Someone who you love with all your heart, and would do anything for. A soulmate is the person you have been searching for your hole life, and when you find them its like they were put on this earth just for you, and it feel magical. A warm glow emanates from within, a feeling of love, passion, joy, happiness can be felt. They are the person that you think about all the time from the moment you wake up, to when your head hits the pillow at night, and the would seems like a more beautiful place when you are together. So yes there is such thing as a soulmate, and some people spend their whole lives looking for them and never find them, a soulmate is worth holding out for.
